Hello,
My name is Cory Ferris, and I am the bass player for Woe, Is Me. I love playing music. Alongside with music, I’ve always loved promoting, booking, and anything else I can do with live shows. I’ve booked many shows in the past 5 years.
About a year ago I started toying with the idea of opening my own venue. I got with my good friend Kodi Grey and we started making a business plan and scouting around for a good spot. A few months later we opened The Boneyard venue.
After a few months of working hard and putting on shows it got really hard for me to keep the business afloat while touring so much. Money was stolen from the venue several times, and before we knew it, the venue was shutting down because we couldn’t afford to pay rent, or utilities.
The Boneyard Venue is still in around $2,000 in debt. I have managed to pay off around $500 but its still a massive debt. I have had a few collectors call me and this is an enormous amount of stress for me while I’m touring. I have tried finding a part time job around my hometown to help pay off a little of the debt; however no one will hire me due to never being home.
I am asking for any help possible. On the top/right hand side of my page, you’ll see the donate button. If you can financially afford it please donate 50 cents, $2, $5, $10, or ANYTHING you can afford. If you donate please email Boneyardrelief@gmail.com and I’d love to personally thank you. Even if you can’t donate but you have positive words to say, feel free to email me.
I will also be throwing a benefit show for the boneyard. I will be announcing the venue, the date, ad the bands within the next few days. I am looking for any bands that would be willing to play to help out.
I am not the person to ask for money or help for most things. I just didn’t know where else to turn. If you are not able to donate, PLEASE DON’T. I understand the economy is rough right now and a lot of people are in a tight spot.
Thank you,
Cory Ferris
So I haven’t been on this site for quite a long time. I started this thing with such good intentions on posting every day, but I failed. Oh well! Time to start again. Hopefully theres still people reading this, and if not; oh well :]
A lot has happened since I last posted on here! We’ve done a lot of tours, met a lot of new people, and acquired many new things as a band! I don’t have enough time, or room on here to post it all but I’ll do my best to sum it up! After our first tour (The Pycnick Partery) We did a Canadian tour with Abandon All Ships, Liferuiner, and Structures. It was an awesome tour that was about 200-300 kids a night. After that tour we did a U.S. tour with A Skylit Drive, Motionless In White, For All Those Sleeping, and Scarlet O’Hara. Skylit Drive turned into some of my best buddies and I still talk to the dudes once a week or so! We had all December off after touring pretty intensely. I turned 23 on December 20th. Getting old, hah! January 5th we left on another full U.S. Tour with We Came As Romans, For Today, The Word Alive, and Texas In July. All the bands were awesome and it was sold out shows every night ranging from 800-2000 a night! After the “Rock Yourself To Sleep Tour” We did the Artery Across The Nation tour with Of Mice And Men, I Set My Friends On Fire, Sleeping With Sirens, and The Amity Affliction. Yes another awesome tour!!
Leading up to where we are now: Warped Tour starts thursday with the practice date. Currently, we’re all sitting at the band house waiting for our driver (Joe) to get back from Indianapolis with the bus! We’re all anxious and staying up all night till we get the bus. I’ll post pictures, and some more information tomorrow about warped!

This tour is turning out so awesome. We haven’t had a show with less than 250 kids or so.
Here’s what’s happened lately:
On our last off day we had a 20 hour drive from Dallas, TX to Phoenix, AZ. We left a gas can in our trailer and forgot to venhilate it; so it blew up all over our equipment and everything was soaked with gas. Definitely a stupid thing to do; but it’s all good.
Phoenix, AZ was about 110 degrees and it was the most miserable weather so far. It was a pretty packed out crowd but we had a lot of technical difficulties. After the show we started heading to Pomona, Cali. We got out to the venue around 9 AM and already saw a few kids waiting at the venue. What an awesome feeling. :]
The show started at 5:00 PM and there was already a line of a hundred or so kids before the doors even opened.
It’s a dream come true to be able to do this for a living… and meeting all of these wonderful people.
We have some AWESOME tours coming up that will be announced very soon. :]
We still have plenty of dates left on this tour; so you should check out a tour date and come out and see us!
It’s the 6th day of tour and it’s an off day. We have a 18 hour drive from Dallas Tx, to Tempe AZ.
The show last night was awesome. Met a lot of cool people and played a good set.
All the bands on the tour are awesome both musically, and as people.
I want everyone reading this to come see a date close to you.
